The Adams Aviation Repair Centre specialises in communication headsets and pilot helmets, offering repair, modification, and rebuilding services for all types of aviation headgear. Our extensive experience supports diverse clients like Police Air Support, Air Ambulance, SAR operators, and private pilots, ensuring top performance and reliability. As an ISO9001:2015 and CAA Part 145 accredited centre, we provide essential maintenance for headsets and equipment like ELTs, catering also to ground support with mechanic headsets and high-visibility extension leads.

Our after-sales support maximises customer investment benefits, and our expanded services now include custom-made leads, adaptors, waterproof looms, and advanced noise reduction systems for Alpha helmets. These innovations improve noise cancellation, speech clarity, and comfort in civil and commercial aircraft.

We emphasise cost control without sacrificing quality and currently offer a Free Inspection, with quotations provided post-inspection.

Our Approvals & Accreditations

Adams Aviation is certified to ISO9001:2015, and we have CAA Part 145, and EASA Part 145 maintenance approval for the reprogramming and battery changing of the ELT manufactures we distribute for. Adams Aviation has a reputation as a quality organisation and supplier. Clients need to know that the products and services that they are receiving can be relied upon and are of the highest standard. We aim to ensure this by our accreditation with external bodies, participation in external quality assurance schemes and our in-house quality policies and training. Our accreditations to both Bureau Veritas and the CAA necessitate reliability, traceability, and confidentiality.

In addition to these hardware solutions, we have developed our own Active Noise Reduction headset for Alpha helmets. This cutting-edge headset features Bluetooth functionality, allowing for seamless pairing with mobile devices, enhancing communication and audio experience for the user.

Our working process

Your Details

Please download and complete our Repair Form; listing your full name, address details, contact telephone number and email address, and that the form be sent with the item. An Address Label will be included and is required to be attached to your parcel. When sending the parcel it is advisable to insurance it and request a tracking ID number. We are not responsible for your Item until it has safely arrived at our facility and been signed for by a member of our staff.

Repair Process

Upon receipt of your headset, it will be booked into our system and if it is still under warranty will be repaired free of charge. If your headset is out of warranty a formal quotation will be sent to you via email. Once we have received your approval in an email and payment has been processed, we aim to complete the repair as quickly as possible, depending on parts availability, though during busy periods such as June, July and August, please be aware that our turnaround times for repairs can take longer. Your repaired headset will be returned to you using DPD.

Our Capabilites

General Aviation Headsets

We are the authorised warranty and non-warranty repair station for Bose, David Clark, and Lightspeed, and are able to service all of their passive and active noise reduction aviation headsets.

Commercial Aviation Headsets

We are the authorised warranty and non-warranty repair station for David Clark and can support their DC PRO-2 (PASSIVE) and DC PRO-X2 (ANR) headsets. We are also able to service and repair Telex Airman 750 and 850 headsets.

Ground Mechanic Headsets

We are the authorised warranty and non-warranty repair station for David Clark and can support their range of ground mechanic de-icing and pushback headsets. We are also to service and repair 3M Peltor wired ground mechanic headsets.

Pilot Helmets

We are fully equipped to service, modify, and repair the Alpha Eagle helmet and the Alpha 900 helmet. We offer comprehensive diagnostics, precision modifications, and expert repairs.

Aviation Adaptors

We have the capability to construct aviation adaptors of the highest quality. Additionally, We can provide bespoke solutions where off-the-shelf products fall short.

Ground Mechanic Cables

We can produce coiled and straight cable extension leads with an array of plugs and sockets including a press to talk button feature.
